The stay was lovely. Staff are friendly and kind. The room was very nice and the beds were comfortable, with great free WiFi. Let's not forget that this is in one of the best possible locations as it is right at the heart of Nelson City. I 100% recommend this to anyone who is coming to Nelson on a reasonable budget.

Loved it, and would certainly stay again. The owner was very welcoming, the location was amazing, so close to town, a lot of sightseeing and the beautiful river walk and shopping were within easy walking even for a couple of 74 year olds.

Absolutely a great place to stay. Very helpful staff permitted me to take up the unit early, just so I could go to the Nelson market. Wonderfully helpful.

The room was very clean and comfortable and offered all the facilities that I required. I was in need of a relaxing night and Riverlodge certainly was the right choice for me. I really can't fault this motel.

The friendly staff, the location, the rooms, the beds, the amenities (great to see milk in glass bottles), the value-for-money, everything really! I cannot recommend higher.
